§ 50.05. Utility customers to automatically receive collection service; notice to city by residents not receiving utility service.

To assist in maintaining the general sanitation and health of the city, every person who receives city utility service shall automatically be placed upon the garbage route and service will begin simultaneously with the commencement of utility service or immediately if such service has previously begun. It shall be the responsibility of all residents of the city who do not receive city utility service to notify the city of their address so that their residence can be added to the garbage collection service; provided, however, that this section shall not prevent nor in any way impair or impede the city from adding the address of a premises to the collection route and enforcing, by appropriate action, the terms and conditions of this chapter.
