§ 93.04. Permit to construct street; application and fee.

  • Prior to the commencement of construction of a street in the city or within any area over which the city now has or may hereafter acquire jurisdiction for control and supervision of streets, the developer or contractor shall file with the City Secretary an application for permit to construct such street, with specifications containing the information required to determine whether the minimum standards prescribed by the city will be satisfied, and shall obtain a permit issued by the City Secretary, with the approval of the Street Superintendent, affirming such specifications and authorizing construction pursuant thereto. Upon the filing of such application, the named officials shall act promptly thereon, and if the specifications, as originally submitted or as subsequently amended, shall be approved, thereon, the permit will be issued. A permit fee of $25.00 shall be charged and paid.
