§ 91.65. Insurance.

  • Each holder of an ambulance service permit shall maintain in effect at all times a policy or policies for (1) public liability, (2) property damage, (3) automobile liability insurance, and (4) professional liability insurance identifying the city and its agents as additional insured parties with a company or companies authorized to do business in the state and approved by the city attorney, in amounts not less than $500,000.00 on account of injury to or death of one or more persons, and $100,000.00 for damage to or destruction of property. Each permitted shall furnish the permit officer a valid certificate of insurance showing compliance with this section, and any such policy shall contain the usual noncancellation clause except upon 30 days' advance written notice to the city.
